The Wilton Conservation Commission, Wilton Garden Club, Norwalk River Watershed Association (NRWA), and the Wilton Land Conservation Trust have teamed up to host an hour-long meditation walk at Cherry Lane Park on Sunday, May 21, starting at 1:30 p.m..  The walk will be lead by yoga instructor and Wilton Garden Club member LeeAnn Schneider.

Attendees should pre-register via email  in order to be contacted should the weather force a cancellation. Attendees should wear light-colored clothing, long pants tucked into their socks, long-sleeved shirts, and hats, and they should use tick-repellent with DEET to help prevent ticks from boarding during the walk.  Following the walk, there will be refreshments and time to ask questions and to meet neighbors and representatives of the groups that collaborate to provide the walks.

The entrance to the park is on Cherry Lane. From Danbury Rd., take Rte. 106/Sharp Hill Rd. east for 1 mile to Cherry Lane. Turn right (south) onto Cherry Lane; the park entrance is 0.3 miles on the left (east side of the road).
