The largest outdoor tag sale in Connecticut, Wilton’s own Minks to Sinks, opens under the tents at the intersection of School Rd. and Rte. 7 this Saturday, Oct. 1. Shoppers will find over 14,000 sq. ft. of new and gently used merchandise, including household items, furniture, luggage, garden tools, kids toys, sports equipment, seasonal clothing and of course, minks and sinks, all at bargain prices.

“The proceeds from all Minks to Sinks sales go to support Family & Children’s Agency, the Norwalk-based non-profit agency that provides critical social services to individuals and families in need in the surrounding communities. Not one of the over 200 volunteers who work tirelessly setting up, organizing and running the sale, gets paid. We volunteer because we believe in Minks to Sinks and Family & Children’s Agency,” explains Ada Mayer, the 2016 Minks to Sinks chair.

On Saturday, the Fall Minks to Sinks sale’s first day, hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m.. The 50-percent off day is Sunday, Oct. 2, from noon-4 p.m..
