Wilton is welcoming two new businesses: Coco Nails and Cielo Restaurant. Located next door to one another, at 142 Old Ridgefield Rd., they are each replacing similar businesses that occupied the same spot.
COCO NAILS
Coco Nails replaces Classy Nails, which previously occupied the same spot. But new owner Sarah Geick is a much more hands-on, experienced pro who is ready to take on the challenge, and they’re already winning raves on Wilton social media. Yes, there are many nail salons in Wilton, and we’ll have an upcoming article about that. But in the meantime, trust us when we say that David Kim (pictured above, left, with owner Sarah, right) gives the most amazing massage to manicure clients—it’s safe to say it might have been the best we’ve ever had (and the gel manicure was very good, too). Ask for David and tell him you want the GOOD Morning Wilton massage.

CIELO Restaurant
Wilton lost a mainstay when Luca Ristorante closed, but opening in the same location this Thursday, July 23 is Cielo, from Hakam Basaran. He tells GMW.com that the fare will be Italian, and given that he’s got a resume in the local restaurant world it’s something to which Wilton can look forward.
He brought his Manhattan eatery, Carpe Diem, to New Canaan a few years ago, and then Picador, his second spot in Wilton’s neighboring town. Now, Basaran is taking over the spot once held by Luca’s. GOOD Morning Wilton will have the full scoop later this week.
