The Wilton High School Girls Swim and Dive Team combined rivalry with charity in an effort that helped the Wilton Food Pantry add much needed items to its shelves.

On Sept. 23, the Warrior swimmers carried on a long-standing tradition of having a team pasta dinner in order to get excited for their upcoming meet three days later against their rival, the New Canaan Rams. The dinner, hosted by sisters Pauline Hendricks (senior) and Carolyn Hendricks (freshman), was also an opportunity for team members to bring items for donation to the Wilton Food Pantry. The effort yielded over 100 household items, which the swim team helped stock on the Food Pantry shelves.
