Wilton High School was the scene of some serious hair cutting last night as more than 50 students had their heads shaved, all in the name of raising money. They did so to benefit St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which supports pediatric cancer research.

As of today, they have raised more than $23,500, and can still collect donations online.

One of the best moments happened when Jasmine Whittaker, the first girl to ever participate in the WHS effort, sat for her head shave. She received the biggest round of applause from the people assembled in the school cafeteria.
