Google Maps must have updated the satellite images of Wilton in the last few months because at Monday night’s Board of Selectmen meeting, first selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice used them to congratulate town facilities director Chris Burney and Energy Commission chair Debra Van-Thompson on a successful solar panel installation project.

The images clearly show the finished solar panel installations on the roofs of Middlebrook School and Miller-Driscoll Elementary School in sharp detail. Those installations were completed last spring.

In addition, it’s the first overhead image of the entire campus of Miller-Driscoll that has been seen since the overall renovation project was completed last year.

Vanderslice called the images impressive–we think it’s tough to disagree.
