The Working Group of town officials and volunteers working on Wilton’s Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) update is holding a meeting on Thursday, Nov. 8 to review the draft of the POCD.
A Working Draft of the Plan has been developed following months of meetings with town leaders and surveys of town residents; it states preliminary goals and objectives and supporting information collected over the last year. According to the website created by the town for the POCD process, “the Working Draft is intended to be for discussion purposes only and will be refined and modified over the coming months” throughout the fall and winter of 2018.
The draft will be refined under the direction of the Planning and Zoning Commission and in conjunction with Milone and MacBroom, consultants that were hired by the town to steer the project.
The current 62-page Working Draft document is available for review online via the POCD website.
The meeting will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Trackside Teen Center (15 Station Rd.). Members of the public are welcome and invited to attend.
