Wilton Citizens get to participate in and help set the Town’s budget every year–the process is designed to get citizens input. That begins tonight, Monday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. with the Board of Finance Public Hearing on the Education budget; and Tuesday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. for the Board of Finance Public Hearing on the Board of Selectmen’s budget (including capital projects that would require bonding).

Both meetings take place at Middlebrook Auditorium. The budgets will be presented by town officials, and then at both meetings, there is ample opportunity for residents to present their opinions. As Board of Finance chair Jeffrey Rutishauser has written in the past, “There is no better way to be heard by the Town’s elected officials than showing up and letting us know your opinion on the budgets.”
