Any visitor to Wilton Center can’t help but be taken in by the creative scarecrows hung on lampposts in a festive fall display all around the shopping area. The Chamber of Commerce’s annual scarecrow fest–put on in cooperation with Trackside Teen Center, the Town of Wilton, Wilton Parks & Recreation and Department of Public Works–sets the Halloween spirit now through Oct. 31, and will help enhance the Wilton Halloween Walk and Trick or Treat Parade this Saturday, Oct. 26.

What’s more, don’t forget to take part in the Town’s Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt. Details can be found in our story about the event.

Check out all the Halloween activities going on around town over the next week in our GMW‘s 2019 Halloween Guide

Debra Hanson, executive director of the Wilton Chamber extended thanks to several individuals who made the scarecrow fest happen:  “On behalf of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce, we would like to thank the Town of Wilton, Parks and Recreation and Trackside Teen Center for assisting and helping the Chamber organize our annual Scarecrow Fest in Wilton Center. This year brought in more scarecrows than years past! We greatly appreciate all the organizations and individuals who participated with their very festive and creative scarecrows.”
