UPDATE 5:30 AM–Wilton Public Schools are closed today due to the expected snow.
ORIGINAL STORY: Winter weather continues–this is December in Wilton, CT in the Northeast US after all. It seems we’re in for that kind of winter.
AccuWeather.com is predicting another weather system for today, but one much more minor than the storm that hit us over the weekend. Their forecasters are saying the snow will begin Tuesday around 7 a.m. and most of the accumulation–about 1-3 inches–will fall mostly during the morning.
The AccuWeather meterologists also said the snow will continue into evening, but that the snow totals shouldn’t exceed those totals. GOOD Morning Wilton will keep you updated with any changes.
The GOOD news–warmer temps are expected later this week (possibly 50-degrees) so we might say goodbye to that white ground cover…for now. It is only Decemeber in Wilton, after all.
