A very nice and quiet weather week (May 7-13) is ahead, featuring a more seasonable forecast unlike last week’s multiple days with highs in the 90s. [Check out Jackson’s Weather exclusive VIDEO forecast for GOOD Morning Wilton, below!]
Monday, May 7: Nice weather will return for our Monday as a very seasonable week of weather takes over. High pressure will move overhead, allowing for mostly sunny skies. With high pressure, you get sinking air, which makes it difficult for clouds to develop. This high pressure will also usher in warmer temperatures. Highs on Monday will be near 70 degrees.

Tuesday, May 8: Expect abundant sunshine for your Tuesday paired with maximum temperatures at around 70 degrees once again. The weather will be perfect to take a walk outside or for any spring sports, although the pollen will not be your friend if you have any allergies. Tree pollen levels will be very high, and the rapid leaf-out is not helping.
Wednesday, May 9: Wednesday will be a similar day, just a few degrees warmer than Monday and Tuesday. Expect highs in the mid 70s, accompanied by sunny skies–great weather to go to the beach during the afternoon. However, the water will still be very chilly, with a temperature only in the upper 40s-to-low 50s.
Thursday, May 10: Thursday will remain nice and dry, featuring sunny skies and a maximum temperature of 70 degrees. Today also marks the first day with a sunset at 8 p.m. or later, a sign that the days continue to grow longer through the first day of astronomical summer.
Friday, May 11: By Friday, a weakening cold front will pass through, which may spark a stray shower, but most likely all day will be dry. The main story will be the mix of sun and clouds and above-average temperatures into the mid 70s. Humidity will also feel a bit noticeable during the day before the cold front charges eastward.

Saturday, May 12: Wilton’s weekend is expected to be nice, although there is still the chance for rain. My bet is on Saturday being the better day of the two, featuring sunny skies and a high of about 70 degrees.
Sunday, May 13: On Sunday’s Mother’s Day, there is the slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm as a new but disorganized storm system approaches from the west. The odds for precipitation may increase, but it’s too early to know at press time.
