Winning Applications, a full-service college consulting practice located in Wilton center, announced the addition of three new independent educational consultants, Terry Williams, Dana Roth and Christine Carnicelli. They will work with new students and their parents on all aspects of the college admission process, including essay writing and finding the best fit for each student.
Williams is a Wilton native who most recently worked at Norwalk High School’s Career Center, assisting students on all aspects of the college admissions process. In addition, she coordinated and hosted representative visits from 120 colleges and universities. She is an alumni admissions counselor representative for Northwestern University and a board member of the Norwalk Education Foundation. A licensed school counselor in Connecticut, Williams is a graduate of Boston College, has a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and a Master in School Counseling from Fairfield University.
Roth earned a Certificate in College Counseling from the University of California-Los Angeles and also holds a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and Bachelors in Psychology from Cornell University. She has professional experience in counseling children with learning differences as well as corporate human resources management and recruiting. Roth is an active volunteer for Cornell and participates in their Alumni Ambassador Network, conducting local informational meetings for admissions candidates. She resides in Newtown.
Carnicelli graduated from University of Vermont and holds a master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She has extensive professional experience working as a human resources executive, most recently in the oil industry. Throughout her HR career, she has led multiple recruiting initiatives with new college graduates, directed resume workshops and conducted hundreds of interviews. She resides in Ridgefield.
Winning Applications has a 90-percent admit rate to their clients’ first choice colleges, with many of their clients gaining admittances to several of their top choices.
