Tickets are now available for the ‘I Dream a World’ Concert, presented by A Better Chance of Wilton.  This unique fundraising community event will be held at the David F. Clune Performing Arts Center at Wilton High School on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 4 p.m.

Wilton chorus students in Grade 6-12 will perform three songs (“Hand in Hand,” “Justice,” and “I Dream A World”) written by Professor Rollo A. Dilworth, award-winning composer, conductor and choral teacher. Dilworth is Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities and Music Education at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

The concert will be an opportunity for Wilton to help celebrate diversity in our community and nation. Proceeds will go to benefit the work of ABC of Wilton.

The concert will enable many of Wilton’s student singers to participate in an important celebration of community, unity and diversity. It will also serve to highlight the work of A Better Chance of Wilton. For more than 15 years, ABC of Wilton has helped to sponsor and guide dozens of minority youth, encouraging educational accomplishment through their participation in the Wilton schools and fostering greater diversity in the community. Graduates of the program have consistently gone on to attend prestigious colleges and universities, becoming real-life representatives of ABC of Wilton’s mission of substantially increasing the number of well-educated minority youth capable of assuming positions of responsibility and leadership in American society.

Tickets for this concert are available online at abcwilton.org.
