Trackside Teen Center is offering a Teen Yoga class for students in grades 6-8 on Wednesday afternoons, from 4:15-5:15 p.m., beginning Nov. 30, 2016 through Jan. 4, 2017.
During class, students will learn yoga techniques which improve physical and emotional health. With guided instruction, teens will gain the tools to manage stress and properly deal with the pressures of everyday life in order to maintain a happy and healthy school year. Students should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers to class. Registration is available online. A class fee of $100 ($20 per class) may also be submitted online. Class will not be held during the holiday break on Dec. 28.
The instructor for this class is Lisa Tenore, a certified yoga-, personal- and group trainer. She is also a certified Reiki practitioner and certified natural health consultant with more than 20 years experience in physical fitness and training. Tenore has worked at many of the leading gyms from Danbury to Stamford, teaching classes and offering personal training sessions. Most recently, she has founded the Forza 5 Holistic Fitness and Healing Center in Cannondale Village.
