Wilton High School Warrior Boys’ Basketball is celebrating the team’s senior members this Wednesday, Feb. 25. They’re inviting Wilton to come to the game and celebrate the team’s eight seniors at the boys’ last home game of the season.
Senior team members, pictured above (L-R), include Miles Elmasry, Lucas Savoie, Ryan Curtis, TJ Savvaides, Scott Shouvlin, Richie Williams, Matt Shifrin and Michael Bingaman. Many of the boys have played together since they were in 5th grade, so the evening promises to be an emotional one.
Also notable is the recent milestone achieved by senior Matt Shifrin, who recently scored his 1,001th career point as part of the WHS basketball program, making him Wilton’s all-time high-scoring boys player. He joined fellow current senior player Erin Cunningham of the WHS girl’s team in achieving the 1,000th point mark.
Wednesday’s game begins at 6:45 p.m., with tip-off at 7 p.m. at the WHS Field House. Any spectators wearing a “white out t shirt” or a Wilton T shirt will receive a free slice of pizza.
