Come out to support the Wilton High School Varsity Girls basketball team in their playoff berth this Saturday, Feb. 17, at home.
The Warrior girls have secured the number two seed in the FCIAC, winning the East Division–the highest standing the team has had heading into the post season since 2015, when Wilton won the Class LL State Championship. The achievement comes after not qualifying for the FCIAC playoffs just one season ago.
As a result of its success, the team has earned home court advantage for Saturday’s quarterfinal playoff game against Staples. The game will be played at the WHS Zeoli Fieldhouse at 2 p.m.. Fans are asked to please wear WHITE and come support the Warriors.
Prior to the Wilton/Staples game, sixth-seed Ridgefield takes on third-seed Fairfield Warde at noon.
During both games, the Wilton Girls Basketball program will be collecting donations to benefit victims of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.
