Last Friday, Sept. 21 the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and the Wilton Police Department were found “guilty” of committing random acts of kindness in Wilton Center. Several members of the Wilton Chamber volunteered alongside Wilton officers to hand out flowers and cards to motorists, wishing them a nice day and suggesting they pass on their own act of kindness.
“It’s in support and appreciation of our great Police Department and to bring smiles to our community,” explains Chamber executive director Debra Hanson. “We appreciate our Wilton residents and businesses.” It’s also another reminder to shop local.
The effort is sponsored by Damselfly Designs, the floral designer at Village Market, and Paul’s Prosperous Printing.
