The Wilton Economic Development Commission (Wilton EDC) will be hosting its second open forum on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Brubeck Room at the Wilton Library. This event is open to the public and all are welcome to join.

**Please note:  this was originally scheduled for Oct. 19 but has been moved to the Oct. 20.

The objective of the forum will be to gain public input and ideas on ways in which the commission can execute on recommendations that came out of the Analytical Study–the first part of which was presented to members of the Board of Selectmen on June 20, and the second piece that will be presented at Monday evening’s, Oct. 17 Board of Selectmen meeting).

The public forum on Oct. 20 will be comprised of three parts:

  1. Overview of Parts 1 and 2 of the Analytical Study
  2. Moderated Q&A on the presentation
  3. Moderated open public discussion focused on the study’s recommendations

Vivian Lee-Shiue (Wilton EDC chair) and John Kelly (Wilton EDC commissioner) will be presenting the overview of the Analytical Study. Rob Sanders, who hosted and moderated a public forum this past May (Wilton 2025: Architecture and Planning—Past, Present and Future) will be moderating this event.

The presentation of Part 1 of the analytical study can be found on the EDC website. Part 2 of the analytical study will be made available on the website following the Oct. 17 presentation to the BoS, prior to the Oct. 20 forum.
