Each year the Wilton Education Association (WEA) awards the Robert E. Gallagher Memorial Scholarship, along with additional scholarships. These scholarships are for children of WEA members who are pursuing their undergraduate degrees.

Two other students also received WEA scholarships but were not present at the presentation: Cole Casl (Fairfield Prep) who is the son of Miller-Driscoll School teacher Robin Casl, and Kathleen Sinatra (Shepaug High School, Washington, CT Class of 2017), who is the daughter of Michael Sinatra, a language arts teacher at Wilton High School.
