On the second Saturday of every month, Lori Price, founder of Price Financial Group, in Wilton, CT and her six-woman team run a non-profit workshop for women considering divorce. Price Financial Group has been presenting Second Saturday:  A Divorce Workshop for Women for more than three years.

The workshop was created 25 years ago and Price was the first to bring it to Fairfield County. The next workshop is Saturday, March 11, from 8:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Southport Congregational Church Library, 524 Pequot Ave., in Southport.

Second Saturday provides an opportunity for women to acquire non-biased, straight-forward information and options to help them focus on what they need to do legally and financially through the difficult time of divorce. Organizers say the workshop can save time, grief and money, and is best suited for women contemplating or in the early stages of divorce.

This four-hour workshop is designed to help participants explore the legal, financial and emotional issues of divorce and gain a greater understanding of the process. There are three segments led by a family law attorney, a certified divorce financial analyst/certified financial planner, and a licensed marriage and family therapist. There is a $35 fee to attend, and light refreshments are served.

Advance registration is strongly recommended. For more information or to register, call 203.529.4309 or email the Price Financial Group. Registrations are also accepted via the Second Saturday Fairfield County website.
