The Wilton League of Women Voters and Wilton Library are inviting Wilton residents to attend a Town Hall-style meeting with Wilton’s state legislators at the library on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m.

League officials said it is an opportunity to hear from State Sen. Ceci Maher (D-26) and State Rep. Savet Constantine (D-42) as they discuss their legislative priorities for the current CT General Assembly session. They will talk about their respective committee work and the priorities facing the town and the state.

In a press release about the event, League officials asked, “What’s on your mind? It is important that the legislators hear from you regarding your priorities and concerns and any other questions you might have about the legislative process.”

Attendees are asked to register with the Wilton Library online ahead of time so organizers can plan seating and refreshments.

Thank you for reading this GOOD Morning Wilton article. I hope you find all our reporting helpful and an important part of keeping up on everything in Wilton. Since 2013, GMW has worked hard to bring you timely, independent news that's available to everyone at no cost. No other news source covers Wilton, and only Wilton, full-time. What makes this local public service possible is reader support. For as little as $5 a month, a GOOD Morning Wilton membership can keep local, independent news going in Wilton. Please consider supporting us today. Thank you,

Heather Borden Herve, GMW Editor/Publisher
