The Wilton Library is presenting an Independent Film Screening of My Brother Jack, an award-winning psychological drama in which two brothers struggle to come to terms with a horrific childhood tragedy, their individual choices made that night and the subsequent years that followed.

The screening will take place Thursday, Aug. 7, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Wilton Library’s Brubeck Room, followed by a Q&A session with the film’s writer/director, Stephen Dest. The film is Dest’s directorial debut on a feature; he is also an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut.

My Brother Jack won Special Jury Selection for Best Cinematography at the Napa Valley Film Festival and for Best Director and Best Picture at the 2013 New England Underground Film Festival. Click here to view the trailer.
