For the 2025 Wilton Municipal Elections, GOOD Morning Wilton asked all candidates to submit a 150-word bio; candidates running for the Boards of Selectmen, Finance and Education and the Planning and Zoning Commission were asked to sit for a video interview and submit an 800-word op-ed. Elizabeth Schiff is running for the Zoning Board of Appeals to help preserve Wilton’s character while supporting thoughtful, community-minded development.
Elizabeth holds an A.B. in English and American literature from Brown University and an M.S.Ed. in elementary education from Bank Street College of Education. A lifelong educator and seasoned volunteer, she brings decades of experience in problem-solving, communication and collaborative leadership. She has served on nonprofit and school boards, led successful fundraisers, and navigated zoning and regulatory processes through personal real estate projects.
Originally from New York City, Elizabeth moved to Wilton two years ago and quickly fell in love with the town’s natural beauty and strong sense of community. She is passionate about giving back and is committed to ensuring that Wilton remains a vibrant, livable and prosperous town for generations to come.
