Wilton Social Services has just over 100 Wilton children in need for whom they hope to provide gifts this holiday season. To help raise enough money to make this effort a reality, the Wilton Newcomers  Club will be donating all proceeds from their annual holiday ornament fundraiser directly to Wilton Social Services and their Wilton Community Assistance Fund.

Through the end of the year, the Wilton Newcomers will be selling beautiful, hand-crafted ornamentsThis year’s ornament is a working bell, and it comes in the choice of silver or red glitter. It is sure to become a treasured keepsake for years to come.

Once again, this year’s ornaments are designed by Wilton’s own Laurie Davis, self-dubbed “the Glitter Fairy.” Her stunning creations have been featured three times on “The Martha Stewart Show.” More of Davis’s whimsical designs can be found at www.glitterworksstudio.com.

Ornaments will be sold at Wilton Newcomers Club events in the month of December. They will also be sold outside the Village Market on Monday, Dec. 2 and Tuesday, Dec. 10 or can be purchased by emailing Kate Roomet, president of the Wilton Newcomers Club Board at kpmroomet@gmail.com
