Wilton Non-Profits Wait for Community’s Support for Fairfield County Giving Day
Uniting the community to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors is the goal of Fairfield County’s Giving Day 2019. At the stroke of midnight on Thursday, Feb. 28, the region’s largest and most exciting and impactful philanthropic event will take place. For the ensuing 24 hours, 430 nonprofits throughout the region–including 16 in Wilton–will be seeking donations, creating awareness about the amazing work they do, and competing for over $100,000 in cash prizes ranging from $1,000 to $20,000.
Powered by Fairfield County’s Community Foundation, Giving Day 2019 is celebrating its sixth year and has become an annual opportunity when a donation of as little as $10 benefits nonprofits across the region. Fairfield County nonprofits provide a safety net for our most vulnerable residents, increase access to housing and educational opportunities for youth and adults, enrich Fairfield County with arts and culture and much more.
The 16 Wilton organizations participating in Fairfield County Giving Day are:
A Better Chance of Wilton
