Congratulations to Rev. Shannon White, the pastor of Wilton Presbyterian Church, and Virgil Roberson, who were married on Saturday, June 29. Rev. Lindsay Curtis (the pastor at Norwalk’s Grace Baptist Church) performed the ceremony at WPC in front of the couple’s friends, family and parishioners, including Father Reginald Norman of Our Lady of Fatima, who captured the vows on video. He shared several clips on a Facebook post from Rev. White herself, which changed her status to ‘Got Married’ shortly after the ceremony.
In addition to being part of the Wilton Clergy Association, White, Norman and several other community clergy members have formed a very tight-knit circle of friends. They threw White a bridal shower earlier in the week before the wedding. Pictured below are Dr. Golnar Sadeghi, of the American Institute of Islamic Studies; Rabbi Rachel Bearman, of Temple B’nai Chaim; Norman; White; and Rev. Marissa Rohrbach, of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church; (missing from the photo are Rev. Caroline Smith, of Wilton Baptist Church, and Rev. Dr. Anne Coffman of Wilton Congregational Church).
