It’s official, Wilton Public Schools (WPS) and offices will be closed on Tuesday, March 14, due to the impending winter storm.

While there is a possibility that this storm will impact the Wednesday school day, superintendent Dr. Kevin Smith will be assessing the situation with the Wilton Police Department and WPS grounds crew Tuesday evening. Please note that a final determination may not be made until Wednesday morning.

The district has also updated the 2016-17 school calendar on its website (and below). Taking into consideration Tuesday’s snow day, the last day of school for students is now June 22. Should the district need to use one more day for inclement weather, the last day for students will be extended to June 23.

Any additional weather closings will reduce the April vacation beginning with Monday, April 10.
