Each week the Wilton Town Clerk’s office releases data for the prior week’s real estate transactions. From Friday, July 31 through Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, Town Clerk Lori Kaback reported ten properties that changed hands.

Key Highlight: Ten properties changed hands this week including one historic Dutch Colonial on Horseshoe Dr.

According to historic maps dating back to the late 1920s through the 1950s, 14 Horseshoe Rd. belonged to the late “H. Abbott,” a carpenter who resided there with his wife, Carrie and their three children, Harry R., Caroline and Charles. The children appear to have remained in the home until the mid-1980s and in 1987, Charles Abbott assumed ownership of the house in its entirety.
