This year marks the 16th anniversary of the four coordinated September 11th terror attacks, including those at the World Trade Center Twin Towers and the Pentagon.

The five Wilton residents who were killed in the attacks 16 years ago were Edward Fergus, Peter C. Fry, John Henwood, John F. Iskyan and Edward P. York.

Wilton Firefighters Local 2233 and the Wilton Fire Department are holding their annual September 11 Memorial Ceremony today, Monday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. at Wilton Fire Headquarters (236 Danbury Rd.). The ceremony is open to the public and residents are invited to attend to honor the five Wilton residents and all the civilians and emergency responders who were killed in the attacks on that day in 2001.
