The Wilton Rocks for Food all-star band is the next featured local band in Wilton’s outdoor summer concert series, which continues this Sunday (July 30). This week’s event is being held at Merwin Meadows from 5-7 p.m.. (The performance is at a NEW LOCATION; the first two concerts took place at Schenck’s Island Park.
As band leader Andy Schlesinger describes it, the concert will be “two hours of rock and roll fun in the sun.”
The family-friendly event is free and attendees are encouraged to set up blankets and chairs, bring a picnic and sit back and enjoy the music. There will also be food trucks offering food and beverages on site.
The concert series is being underwritten by the Wilton Parks and Recreation Department, the FAIR Group–William Raveis Real Estate, the Kiwanis Club of Wilton, and by a challenge donation from Lynne and Paul Vanderslice.
