Wilton Public Schools sent out an email Thursday evening, letting parents know that predicted snowfall overnight into Friday morning, Feb. 5 might impact Friday’s school day. The email said that superintendent Kevin Smith will be in touch with town officials and other superintendents from surrounding towns at 4 a.m., and that should any decision be made to delay or cancel school, parents will be notified at 5 a.m. via School Messenger. In addition, news media outlets will be notified and the school website will be updated.
“Local forecasts suggest we might be dealing with snowfall overnight and into in the early morning hours. Dr. Smith will contact town officials beginning at 4am, in addition to conferencing with area Superintendents. Should road conditions necessitate a delayed opening or school closing, notification will be sent via School Messenger at 5am. Information regarding school delays/closing is also posted to our website and to the following news outlets:
