The Wilton Athletic & Recreation Foundation (WARF) announced that Wilton will be the location for an upcoming Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) Game of the Week match between the University of Pennsylvania Quakers and University of Vermont Catamounts. It will be held at Wilton’s Memorial Stadium on Saturday, April 27 at 1 p.m..
“I’m thrilled Wilton can host such a significant game and event for the NCAA, with two top-ranked teams. It will be truly inspiring for all young players in the area. Wilton has a great deal to offer, and this is an outstanding way to share it all with residents from surrounding communities.” said WARF president, JR Sherman.
In addition to the game, pre-and-post event activities will include a player meet-and-greets and coach’s talks on Friday, April 26, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., as well as tailgating, local food trucks, vendor booths and sponsor raffles from Reverent Lacrosse, Vineyard Vines, SmartBackStop and more, all starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27.
Ticket prices for the game range from $25 general admission to $55 for VIP tickets (incl. parking) and are available for purchase online. A 20% discount is offered to groups purchasing 50 or more tickets in a ticket category.
