Tickets are now on sale for the Wilton Woman’s Club (WWC) 16th Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser. The event is being held on Thursday, April 10, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Rolling Hills Country Club and will benefit the Circle of Care, the Wilton-based organization supporting Connecticut families of children with cancer.

This signature Wilton event traditionally ushers in spring and brings people together for a worthy cause as well as fun entertainment, delicious lunch and an exciting silent auction. New this year, WWC members will be modeling fashions provided by The Plumed Serpent Bridal and Evening Wear of Westport, owned by Wilton resident Alison Luciano.

Circle of Care, a Wilton based region-wide non-profit, provides practical, emotional and financial support to families of children, adolescents and young adults diagnosed with pediatric cancer.

“It is inspiring that the Wilton Woman’s Club has chosen Circle of Care as this year’s beneficiary,” WWC Philanthropy Committee member Mary Ahrens said. “Their commitment in supporting families of children with cancer truly makes a significant difference during such challenging times. The work they do not only provides essential resources but also emotional support, helping families navigate their journey with compassion and care. It’s a great opportunity for the community to come together and support such a meaningful cause!”

Circle of Care co-founders Liz Salguero and Dawn Ladenheim met 20 years ago in a support group and were shocked to discover that they both lived in Wilton, had young sons with leukemia and were being treated by the same doctor but had not yet crossed paths. Before their sons’ treatments had even ended, they set out to find a better way for parents to connect and navigate their journeys together.

“We are incredibly grateful to be the beneficiary of this wonderful event. As a member of the Wilton Woman’s Club, I have seen firsthand the remarkable impact this group has on the community. Circle of Care is truly honored to be on the receiving end of such generosity. This support means so much to the families we serve and makes our work possible,” Salguero, Circle of Care’s executive director, said.

Tickets for the fashion show and luncheon can be purchased on the WWC website now through April 1.

Visit the Circle of Care website to learn more about how the organization is committed to ensuring no family faces the financial or emotional burden of pediatric cancer alone. All additional contributions are welcomed on the WWC website donation page.
