The Wilton Y Wahoos are holding a Car Wash and Bake Sale Fundraiser this Saturday, Oct. 5, from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Wilton Family Y. All proceeds raised during the event will go directly to the YMCA’s Flood Relief Campaign, helping the Y to “Restore, Rebuild, and Recover” after the devastating rains caused more than $4.5 million in damage to the facility.
The Car Wash line will start at the “drop off” area near the Y’s front entrance. For a donation of just $10 per car, drivers will enjoy a thorough exterior car wash, with additional contributions always welcome.
The community is encouraged to participate, whether by getting cars washed, purchasing delicious baked goods, or simply spreading the word about this important event. Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to the collective effort of rebuilding and supporting the Y.
