Our Lady of Fatima School is holding a fundraiser, raffling a $30,000 tuition to the grand prize winner’s school of choice (kindergarten through college). The raffle is open to the public (any U.S. resident).

Here’s what that * means in the headline:  The scholarship is $30,000 in tuition payable directly to any accredited U.S. college, university, private or parochial school–it doesn’t have to be used just at OLF (unless of course the winner wants that). So in other words, you don’t have to be a student at OLF to take a chance by buying a raffle ticket. The added bonus is that it supports this Wilton school.

The scholarship can benefit up to two students of any age or grade. There are only 1,000 tickets available for sale at a cost of $100 per ticket.

Anyone can participate. A winning ticket could go a long way to fulfilling someone’s dream of an education.

Tickets may be purchased online on the OLF website.

According to raffle organizers, at least 400 tickets must be sold in order for the Raffle to proceed. If fewer than 400 tickets are sold, the Raffle will be canceled and ticket purchasers will receive a full refund.

The drawing will be held at Our Lady of Fatima School Gym on Saturday, May 30 at 7 p.m..

Rules and Regulations: The prize is to be paid directly to K-12 schools, colleges or universities. Schools must be located and accredited in the U.S. Up to two students may be designated by the prize-winner to receive the tuition award. Students must be named within four years of the drawing. The winner may designate him/herself, relatives, friends, or a financially needy student recommended by an educational institution. The student does not need to begin to draw on the money until they are ready to attend the school of their choice. The prize is to be paid in consecutive years, for up to four years, commencing with or during the student recipient’s education at the selected educational institution. Any unused portion of the prize remaining after four years beyond the date payment commences would revert to Our Lady of Fatima School. Eligible expenses include tuition, room and board, and school-related fees. The prize is not redeemable for cash.
