Dogs and their humans are invited to the 2nd Annual Mutt Strut Challenge to support the Norwalk River Valley Trail on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m.-noon in Wilton and Norwalk, CT. Participants can come out with their canine companions for some fresh air and fun, while raising money to extend and improve the Norwalk River Valley Trail. Festivities will take place simultaneously at both the NRVT Wilton Loop and along the trail at Mathews Park in Norwalk.

Walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to complete the challenge–a one mile hike–or pass on the challenge and instead enjoy a leisurely trail walk, great for people of all ages and people with disabilities. Strollers and bikers are welcome. Come as a family or form a company team and compete to raise funds for the NRVT. For each member of the team raising the most funds, Passage East Kennels will provide two free nights of boarding and a full service groom.

Plus, preserve memories at the dog selfie station and enjoy food trucks and family-friendly activities. It’s a wonderful opportunity to make new friends – both hound and human.

The Wilton starting place is on the NRVT at the corner of Rt. 7 and Wolfpit Rd.; the Norwalk event begins at the NRVT in Mathews Park in Norwalk. For more information and to register, visit the Mutt Strut website.
