Did you know that this Friday, April 29 is “Bee Kind” Day at Miller-Driscoll School? All students are encouraged to dress like bees and to think about ways to “Bee Kind” and include others, especially those with disabilities.
As part of the day-long event, the Parent’s Advisory Board (PAB) is sponsoring a drawing in conjunction with GOOD Morning Wilton. We want to drum up some “buzz” about “Bee Kind” Day, so we hope you’ll share your photos of your M-D students dressed in their best bee costumes. Five Miller-Driscoll student photos will be randomly selected to win a $5, $10 or $15 gift card to the Toy Chest, a plush “Bee Kind” Bee, and their picture in GMW.
To enter, please e-mail a photo of your Miller-Driscoll child dressed like a bee, along with your child’s name and the name of his or her classroom teacher to PABWilton@gmail.com by 6 p.m. on Friday, April 29. There is no cost to enter.
Winners will be announced Monday, May 2 in GMW and their pictures will appear the same day. Gift cards and plush bees will be delivered to the winning Miller-Driscoll students later in the week.
Note: Submitting a photo of your child with his or her name gives GMW permission to publish the submitted picture. Entries that do NOT include the name of the child and his or her classroom teacher will be excluded from the drawing.
The Parent’s Advisory Board (PAB) is a group of parents and administrators dedicated to improving communication, education and trust among parents of children with special needs and Wilton Public Schools. To learn more, please visit the PAB website.
