Another school delay for Wilton is possible again Wednesday morning, Dec. 7 as I track more snow Tuesday night. As of now, I am giving a 40-percent chance for a school delay but–GOOD news–a zero percent chance for a cancellation.

It looks like Wilton is going to be right on the rain or snow line, where South Wilton may see rain and North Wilton may get snow. I do know that everyone is going to begin with rain Tuesday evening, but as temperatures cool to freezing, much of town will get in on the snow action. The higher elevations and North Wilton have the greatest chance for accumulating snow. I think it will be between a coating and an inch, which may make for a slippery Wednesday morning commute. All of the precipitation, however, should be over by 7 a.m..

With all of that said, a delay for Wilton Schools is possible Wednesday morning, but it is not guaranteed because we may only experience rain Tuesday night, and snowfall totals will be very light even if we get snow.
