The Wilton Conservation Commission is hosting a guided walk through the wooded trails of Belknap Preserve on Sunday, March 12 at 1 p.m.. Conservation commissioner Colleen O’Brien will lead the walk. All are welcome, including dogs on leash.
From Wilton Center, take Rte. 7/Danbury Rd. north for 2.6 miles to Honey Hill Rd. on the right (east). Follow Honey Hill Rd. 0.7 miles to Wampum Hill Rd.. Turn right (south) and the entrance is 200 ft. south on the right; the kiosk is visible from the road. Park along the street near the entrance.
Attendees are asked to register by email and include the number of people planning to attend and a phone number for organizers to call if the event is cancelled for any reason. The walk is free and open to the public.
