Send Kim Healy to Hartford
To the Editor:
I am writing to commend state representative candidate Kim Healy for her commentary on the Connecticut economy at the Wilton Library debate this week. Among the topics she emphasized, state and local expense management (and proactive action on state audits) is critical to the long-term sustainability of our population and economy. A low-tax, pro-business environment is foundational to attracting and retaining state residents, providing better paying jobs and delivering educational excellence.
What our district requires, and what is needed in Hartford, is demonstrated fiscal expertise. Kim brings a wealth of professional and volunteer experience to her candidacy. A former certified public accountant, since 2021 Kim has lent her financial skills as an elected member of the Wilton Board of Selectman, most notably ensuring responsible municipal spending. Moreover, Kim’s tenure on the employee retirement investment and post-employment benefits committees will translate directly to managing these critical issues at the state level. Finally, having served on the Reading Leadership Implementation Council and educated four children in our town, Kim is ideally positioned to be a strong voice for the district in retaining local decision-making for our schools and students.
As a decade-long resident, I encourage my fellow voters to send Kim Healy to Hartford as our State Representative!
With appreciation,
Eamon Moran
Constantine and Maher Have Skills and Desire to Make a Real Difference in Hartford
To the Editor:
We need to remember our down-ballot offices in this election. That’s why I want to endorse and encourage you to vote respectively for Savet Constantine and Ceci Maher for State Representative and State Senator.
In the past six years our state representatives have shown that good communication and cooperation with Hartford have brought our local issues closer to the attention of the Assembly and the Senate. Wiltonians no longer need to erect barriers to Hartford when we are working and communicating instead of standing off in defiance. That good communication will continue if we elect Savet and re-elect Ceci.
Both Savet and Ceci have the skills and especially the desire to make a real difference for you and me in Hartford.
Ceci in the last two years has worked tirelessly for our Senate district.
Savet with her extensive school PTA and local organization experience and her many local personal friendships will listen to us. As our Representative, she will take a determined spirit with our issues to Hartford to produce real answers to our needs.
Please vote for Savet and Ceci.

Savet Constantine Is the Clear Choice for Every Voter
To the Editor:
As an independent voter, I have always prioritized candidates who focus on the issues that truly matter to our community, regardless of party affiliation. Savet Constantine stands out as a leader committed to addressing the issues head-on, and she has earned my vote for State Representative this November.
Savet is not a career politician but a neighbor, someone who shares our values and is focused on what matters most to us. Whether it’s improving our schools, addressing housing challenges, or supporting small businesses, Savet has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the issues and a desire to take meaningful action. Her dedication to listening to constituents and offering practical solutions makes her the kind of representative we need at the state level.
I urge all voters, regardless of political affiliation, to support Savet Constantine for Connecticut’s 42nd House District.

Savet will defend our right to choose — No Matter What
To the Editor:
At the Ridgefield League of Women Voters Debate on Oct. 1, I was stunned when Kim Healy (R) said on the topic of abortion bans, “I would not want this brought up at the national level, I prefer it be done here in our state.” In other words, Kim Healy supports the Dobbs decision that gutted reproductive rights for millions of American women in states with Republican controlled legislatures. Basically, to hell with them.
Savet Constantine (D) strongly countered, “She’s happy with it at the states. I am not happy. I want women all across the nation to have the same rights we have here and in other states that are not limiting abortion rights, reproductive health. And we know that Republican states, red states, are bringing cases back up to the Supreme Court where they said oh no it’s a state issue. They want to bring it back up to the national level at the Supreme Court and then make a National abortion ban.”
If you care about protecting reproductive freedoms for ALL women, then you need to vote for a candidate who truly gets what is at stake, who shares your values and who will passionately fight for women no matter what. You need to vote for Savet Constantine.

Ceci Maher and Savet Constantine will Prioritize Wilton’s Needs and Work Collaboratively
To the Editor:
As we approach the upcoming state legislative elections, I urge you to support our Democratic candidates — Ceci Maher for State Senate and Savet Constantine for State Rep. I know these dedicated individuals are committed to bringing tangible benefits from Hartford to Wilton. They will work for our town to bring funding for both our schools and infrastructure.
Our Democratic candidates understand the unique needs of our community. They recognize that investing in education is crucial for our children’s future and Wilton’s long-term prosperity. They pledge to fight for increased state funding for our schools, ensuring that our students have access to top-notch resources and opportunities.
Moreover, these candidates are committed to improving Wilton’s infrastructure. They plan to secure state funds for road improvements, public transportation enhancements, and sustainable development projects. These initiatives will not only improve our daily lives but also boost our local economyby promoting local businesses.
By electing these Democratic candidates, we are choosing representatives who will be strong advocates for Wilton at the state level. They will work tirelessly to ensure our town receives its fair share of state resources and support.
Your vote matters. Let’s elect Ceci and Savet — they will prioritize Wilton’s needs and work collaboratively to build a brighter future for our community. Vote Democratic in the upcoming state legislative elections.
Sincerely,
Anthony Iorfino
Savet Constantine — A Fresh New Voice
To the Editor:
I’m a family therapist who feels the need for healing in our town and in our nation and that’s why I’m standing up to support Savet Constantine as our next State Representative. I picked up the phone to call her and here’s what I found — someone who’s deeply interested in serving all her constituents, combining fiscal responsibility with the forward-looking vision we need.
She will be an important voice for us, an independent thinker concerned and caring about a wide range of folks, from the parents of kids who don’t fit a cookie-cutter mold in school and need support to seniors like me who want to feel safer when I take my life in my hands driving on Rte. 7.
I sense that Savet Constantine wants to nurture what works well in our town and also knows Wilton is not the same community of years past. While her opponent already has a local position, Savet Constantine will be a fresh new voice, unafraid to call out and break with leadership at whatever level is required, state… or national.
I’m in favor of a town where we talk to each other and together craft a community that values trust, open dialogue, and the new ideas we need to grow in reasonable and well-reasoned ways. That’s why I’m putting up my lawn sign for Savet.

Vote Row B, Make a Difference for Connecticut
To the Editor:
This election is crucial, and we need all Republican candidates to win for a brighter future. Kim Healy and Kami Evans are dedicated to bringing common sense and sound policies to benefit not just the people of Wilton, but all of Connecticut. With your support, they can be the voices of reason and progress our state needs.
Our congressional candidate, Michael Goldstein, and senate candidate Matt Corey, are committed to restoring pride and prosperity to Wilton and Connecticut. Let’s give them the chance to lead with integrity and bring real change.
