The new week (Oct. 16-22) will be very boring but beautiful, featuring sunny skies everyday and gradually rising temperatures as the week progresses. If you enjoy the cool, fall air, the start of this week will be perfect. If you’re still hoping for the summer-like warmth to stick around, then just wait until the second half of the week.

Monday, Oct. 16:  Early Monday morning, a cold front will push through, leading to much drier air. This frontal passage will allow for high pressure that will build into the Eastern U.S., beginning a gorgeous stretch of sunny days. On Monday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high struggling to get out of the upper 50s!

Tuesday, Oct. 17:  That struggle will remain real on Tuesday with the same high-temperature forecast. Break out the pumpkin spice lattes because it will definitely feel like fall–finally! There is also the risk for the first frost of the season early in the morning as temperatures plunge down into the mid 30s. There will be even more sunshine so don’t expect to see any clouds in the sky.

Wednesday, Oct. 18:  Wednesday will be a beautiful day, featuring abundant sunshine, very dry air, and a return to the above average temperatures with a high over five degrees above average, getting up to around 70 degrees.

Thursday, Oct. 19:  Skies will remain cobalt blue and as clear as can be. The weather will be great to enjoy the near-peak fall foliage. Foliage this season will not be as good as it has been in the past, however, because it has been so mild as of late.

Friday, Oct. 20:  Expect another day of plentiful sunshine on Friday, with a high temperature getting into the low 70s. It will be quite comfortable outside so I strongly recommend taking a lunch break outside. Normally in mid-October, it would be too cool outside to leisurely enjoy it.

Saturday, Oct. 21:  During the new weekend, the pattern will not change at all, with the sunny stretch continuing. It will be very warm with a high in the mid 70s on Saturday under an ample amount of sunshine.

Sunday, Oct. 22:  Sunday will be a duplicate of Saturday, featuring sunny skies and highs still about 10 degrees above average. I don’t know about you, but the weather the next seven days seems perfect!
