It’s still incredibly hot, and many Wilton residents are away someplace where there’s sand underfoot. College students are starting to trickle back to their dorms and campuses, bidding Wilton farewell for now. We may be dragged back kicking and screaming, but what’s waiting just around the corner is…Back to School!
Once again, GOOD Morning Wilton is creating a master list of important dates and information for all your ‘Back to School in Wilton’ needs. Monday, Aug. 29: Counselors will be onsite beginning today. They should be contacted via e-mail as they will be participating in opening school activities.

Friday, Sept. 2: Freshman and new student orientation, 8 a.m. (Please note: the Club Fair will NOT take place on this day. It will be held during the lunch waves within the first couple weeks of school. More information will be provided closer to the start of school.)
Tuesday, Sept. 6: First Day of School! Freshmen will start at 8:20 a.m. and all other students will start at 10:20 a.m.. Full details of the day’s schedule will be posted and emailed soon.

Athletic registration: Athletic registration is still in progress. If your child is interested in trying out for a fall sport, be sure your child is registered on FAMILY ID and a current physical is on file in the high school prior to tryouts. Football began Monday, Aug. 15 and all other fall sports start on Thursday, Aug. 25.
Tuesday, Aug. 23: Student class schedules and team assignments will be available via the PowerSchool Parent Portal in the afternoon.
Having trouble resetting your password? Visit the Middlebrook website, under “News” select the “PowerSchool Password Reset” link. A member of the staff will email you a temporary password.
If you have any questions about your child’s schedule, please contact the school counselors via e-mail. Counselors will address them as soon as possible. Middlebrook school counselors will be onsite beginning Tuesday, Aug. 30.
