Hideaway Circus is returning to Wilton with “Canvas Sky,” an all-new outdoor show. Following the unprecedented success of the “Stars Above” tours, this groundbreaking spectacle will make its much-anticipated stop in Wilton as part of a 35-week journey across 22 states. The show will be presented in partnership with the Town of Wilton and take place at Comstock Community Center, with showtimes scheduled for June 7 at 7:30 p.m., June 8 at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and June 9 at 2 p.m.
Canvas Sky features a heartfelt tale centered on themes of self-acceptance and the power of uplifting one another, portrayed through the journey of a circus troupe. Audiences will follow the story of a clown, struggling to find his place, who discovers his voice with a little help from an unexpected friend. This narrative is brought to life by a cast of 10 world-class performers, blending the enchantment of classical circus arts with a contemporary storyline, all set to the backdrop of original music. This all-ages production is performed outdoors, under the vast canopy of sky and stars, on a custom-built circular stage and aerial rig, offering a unique open-air experience.
