The Wilton Playshop is bringing some laughs to the staid topic of business, as it presents How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert.

The Playshop’s production of this musical comedy is directed by Skip Ploss with musical direction by Barbara Speare and choreography by Judy Abbatiello, and will be performed April 28-May 13.

Big business means big laughs in this delightfully clever lampoon of life on the corporate ladder. This satire of big business follows the rise of young J. Pierrpont Finch from window washer to high-powered executive. A tune-filled comic gem that took Broadway by storm, winning both the Tony Award for Best Musical and a Pulitzer Prize, How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying boasts an exhilarating score, including “I Believe in You,” “Brotherhood of Man,” and “The Company Way.”

Performances are scheduled for April 28, 29 and May 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 at 8 p.m., as well as matinees at 2 p.m. on April 30 and May 7.

Tickets cost $30 for adults and $25 for seniors and students; tickets are discounted $5 on Thrifty Thursdays. To purchase tickets, visit the Wilton Playshop website.
