Lost and Found, a local area store and showroom specializing in vintage and re-furbished furnishings and room-defining décor, is presenting its’ first-ever “Lost and Found Bazaar” on Sunday, May 18, from 12 noon to 5 p.m.. This indoor and outdoor, street bazaar-styled shopping event is open to discerning collectors, families and friends, and the public at-large and will take place at the Crossways Plaza at 300 Danbury Road (Rt. 7) in Wilton. Admission and all on-site parking is free to the public for this inaugural “rain or shine” bazaar-inspired event.
The Lost and Found Bazaar plans to be a Spring & Summer showcase for the store’s eclectic mix of vintage, artisan and refurbished home furnishings, accessories and room-defining designs. As a featured outdoor component to the live store event, a select group of local artisans and specialty shops will re-create a festive “village” bazaar setting in which to display and offer-for-sale their unique-style of branded goods for the timeless enjoyment of children and adults alike. Decorated with brightly colored umbrellas throughout, the indoor and outdoor Bazaar will also serve to entertain festival-goers of all ages with a mini home-style food court, old-fashioned country fair games of skill, and distinctive raffle-prize giveaways offered throughout the afternoon’s festivities.
Andrew and Donna Clarke, the proprietors of Lost and Found and the co-hosts for the first-time event, are excited to debut the bazaar. “We are thrilled to present this Bazaar-styled signature event right in our own hometown of Wilton. We have planned a fun-filled afternoon of eclectic vintage shopping combined with local home-style food and festive entertainment for discerning area shoppers and their families. The Bazaar creates an intimate and relaxed setting for idyllic shopping, friendly conversation and quality time spent with family and friends.”
