The talk is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 4 at 10-11 a.m.. The cost to attend is $25, and includes a healthy snack and beverage.
Slater is a registered dietitian and a certified dietitian nutritionist licensed in Connecticut. She strives to make eating a joyful and healthy experience, with a focus on nutritious, whole-food choices that are customized for her clients. Wendy loves advising all ages, and has done so as an inpatient dietitian, wellness coordinator, long-term care consultant, and on staff at a pediatric practice. She specializes in weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, PCOS, gastrointestinal disorders, general wellness, and functional medicine. She completed the certificate of training in Child/Teen Weight Management from The Academy of Nutrition And Dietetics and has plans to obtain her CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) in early 2018.
