Connecticut’s largest outdoor tag sale, Minks to Sinks to benefit Family and Children’s Agency (FCA), will be held this fall on Oct. 5-7, but in-home consignments are ongoing now.
As a service, Minks to Sinks offers in-home consigning to Wilton residents with more than 10 items to consign (clothing accepted as a donation only). To arrange for a Minks to Sinks volunteer to come to a home and price and tag all items, consigners should call 203.762.0520 before Sunday, Sept. 15 between the hours of 9 a.m.-7 p.m.. Consigners then will be able to drop off tagged merchandise at the Minks to Sinks site at their convenience during consignment/donation hours once the sale tents have been set up.
Minks to Sinks has been enabling area residents to recycle gently used and new items for more than 83 years. Proceeds of the sale benefit Family and Children’s Agency, a leading, Norwalk-based, nonprofit human services organization providing social services for children, families, adults, and seniors. Services include behavioral and mental health, addiction recovery services, after-school programs, parenting counseling, homeless services, family counseling, foster care training, home care for older adults, and more. The organization serves more than 13,000 children, families, adults, and seniors every year.
For more information and a list of merchandise accepted, please visit the Minks to Sinks webpage.
