The following is a press release from Americans for Prosperity and the Republican Town Committee:
“A discussion of ‘Connecticut’s Road to a Bright Economic Future’ will be held at the Wilton Library’s Brubeck Room at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10. Presented by the Connecticut chapter of Americans for Prosperity, the presentation will discuss the current condition of our state’s economy; investigate the impact of debt on taxpayers and families; and most important, present solutions to put our state on the road to brighter economic future. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
“‘I look forward to discussing what can be done to promote and advance economic freedom in our state,’ said JR Romano, Americans for Prosperity Connecticut state director. ‘So many issues and pieces of legislation are debated without the knowledge of the public that directly impact our economic freedom. We look forward to an interesting and educational event to discuss how to get Connecticut back on the path to economic prosperity.’
“Refreshments will be served at this informative event. Although admission is free and walk-ins are welcome, you can visit www.CTBrightFuture.com to register (to insure we have sufficient seating) or to find out more information.”
