GOOD Morning Wilton took part in “Career Awareness Day” at Middlebrook School, as one of more than 60 professionals talking to students about jobs and careers. The students who attended each of the sessions with GMW.com wrote news briefs as a group about their take on the experience. This brief was written by the kids who came to GMW‘s first session.
Middlebrook students spent the afternoon of Wednesday, March 18 learning about different careers. They attended four different presentations learning about specific jobs. Parents and other Wilton professionals came into the school to present how they do their jobs and what they do.
“It’s my first experience at career day and it’s really nice to hear the parents come to talk to us about their jobs,” Kevin Latt, a sixth grader, said about his time learning about the working world.
