Legacy Global Sports and Brine Lacrosse recently announced the roster of high school and middle school boys who will represent Connecticut at the 2016 National Lacrosse Classic, and six Wilton lacrosse players earned spots on the team. The prestigious tournament will feature elite level boys and girls selected from regional tryouts held nationwide.

The players from Wilton are:

Dean Dinanno (Class of 2019) 
Ethan Grandolfo (Class of 2019)
Tyler Previte (Class of 2019)
Ryan Schriber (Class of 2019)
Jake Stein (Class of 2019)

Middle School Team

Dante Batista (Class of 2021)

Of note, Schriber recently committed to play Division 1 lacrosse at the University of Michigan, an unusual and remarkable accomplishment for a freshman.

Batista is one of only three 7th graders to make the middle school team and the only player from Wilton to make the squad, which is made up of 7th and 8th graders.

The event will take place July 19-22, 2016 at River City Sportsplex in Richmond, VA. Teams will compete in a championship format providing players with exposure to collegiate recruiting and eilte-level play experience.
